Meet Our Staff

Teaching Professional

Tony's first career was in the Armed Services where he entered as a Private in 1982 and eventually retired as a Colonel in 2010.  His 28 year career included multiple leadership positions (as an enlisted soldier and as an officer) culminating with a Brigade level command.  His 28 year career as an Army Aviator enabled him to travel and meet thousands of great Americans serving our country.

Although the Army was his first love, his passion for golf quickly grew when he began working with Carolina Section and Lifetime PGA Member Jimmy Koosa in 1997.  The two became close friends and Mr. Koosa began mentoring Tony on how to teach and play the game.  Tony’s amateur success on the club championship and member-guest circuit sparked him to pursue his new passion as an instructor/coach/mentor.

"I have learned so much from Tony in just a few lessons.  I can't tell you how much he has helped my game!  His teaching style makes golf relaxing and so much fun!  He went above and beyond other instructors I've had by printing out our lesson summaries and checking on my progress during the week."- Joanie Workman  Morris, Illinois

"I've been playing golf and taking lessons on and off for 25 years.  In just one lesson, Tony changed my life!  I literally gained 8-10 yards per club.  He explained and demonstrated what a good impact position was and how to get there.  I'm now reaching par 5's in two and scoring better than ever."- John Keller  Greer, SC
