Steve Calhoun
Steve Paul Calhoun Mundo born in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. He moved to the United States when he was four in 1982. He has been a Palm Beach County Resident ever since.
Steve grew up playing in the Palm Beach County Junior Golf Association starting in 1986. Steve won the very first tournament he entered at the age of 8. This event was held at PGA National and was PGA Junior Championship. He went on to win various tournaments over the years and was a multiple member of the Tri-county all star team from 1986 till 1997. Steve was 4 year varsity letterman winner at Wellington High School from 1993-1997. After high school Steve played his collegiate golf at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he earned a Bachelors of Art in Communications and a minor in History in 2005.
Currently Steve is employed at Okeeheelee Golf Course and currently is an active member on the Minor League Golf Tour and plays in tournaments every week. Making the PGA Tour and winning a PGA Tour event have been his dreams since he started playing golf in his backyard at the age of four.
Steve has maintained his Mexican heritage throughout his life and is fluent in Spanish.
He will be offering Spanish golf clinics for anyone who would rather learn in their native language.
At this time he would like to give a message to the Latino Community.
Bienvenidos a todos mis estudiantes que hablan espanol. Me llamo Steven Paul Mundo y naci en Mexico. Trabajo en el Campo de Golf en Okeeheelee y tambien en John Prince Park. Empesando en Febrero voy ha ofrecer classes de golf en espanol en los dos campos. Espero ver a muchos estudiantes nos vemos despues. Hasta lluego!
