Ray Sowers

Ray Sowers a native of Manhattan, New York started teaching part time for Golf Professional Services in the summer of 07. Currently Ray is the Head Professional at Park Ridge. Ray has been a class A PGA Professional for 14 years. It is his goal to make golf enjoyable and fun for golfers of all skill levels.

Prior to coming to Golf Professional Services Ray was Director of Instruction at The Academy of Golf @ Royce Brook in New Jersey. He was a teacher at the busiest golf school in the country located in Stratton, Vermont. Ray was also Head Professional / Director of Instruction at Poxabogue Golf Center located in Bridgehampton, New York.

As a player Ray won 2 South Florida Chapter events. He played on the Golf Coast Mini Tour for 2 years.
Ray has played in events in Austria, France and South America.

Ray is married to Elena Sowers and they have one son Dylan.
